Greetings Preceptors!

We are hearing a great deal of excitement regarding our first Preceptor Retreat scheduled Saturday, October 15 to Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Sea to Sky Gondola Summit Lodge in Squamish, British Columbia.

Thanks to the support of the UBC Faculty of Medicine, our site is able to offer a $150 honorarium to those preceptors pre-registered for the Sea to Sky Preceptor Retreat by Friday, April 22, 2016.

Please note that payment will be made to an individual or incorporation, i.e. this will be treated as a stipend.

Abbotsford-Mission Faculty Development Breakfast: The Building Blocks of Assessment & Evaluation

This dialogue will focus on the UBC Family Practice Residency Competency Based Assessment and cover its vision, framework and processes. During this discussion we will also address the preceptor feedback received over the past few months as well as the upcoming changes to our evaluation tools.
