Dear Colleagues,

Please join us on November 30 to learn more about the current and planned anti-racism actions and initiatives underway at the Faculty of Medicine.

Dermot Kelleher, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Vice-President of Health, will host a dynamic, one-hour session featuring an update on the Faculty’s multi-year plan to transform our culture by creating and sustaining respectful and inclusive learning and work environments free from racist attitudes and behaviours. The session will feature a diverse group of presenters from across the Faculty currently engaged in anti-racist initiatives.

During the event, there will be time to ask questions and share ideas on how we can collectively advance and practice anti-racism in our community. Alternatively, we invite you to email your ideas and comments to professionalism.office@ubc.ca. All communications will be held in strict confidence.

All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend. Click below for the live stream event and Q&A.
