We celebrated our final academic half day with our 1st Annual Beach Volleyball Tournament held at Mission Springs Pub & Brewery! The R1s + Site Director Dr. Holden Chow competed against the R2s + Program Coach Jacqueline Ashby. It was a close match with the R1s dominating the first game. However, the R2s came back strong overtaking the R1s two games to one!
The R2s received the coveted Henry Weinhard Award! Best darn root beer this side of Regina! And bragging rights of course!
R1s have to compose a limerick based on their field notes and have it submitted to me by Friday, July 1. This shouldn’t be an issue since you have described on numerous occasions how valuable and instrumental the field notes have been during your learning journey :).
The limericks will be reviewed and a winner announced Friday, July 8th!
