Hello Team & Happy New Year!

I hope you are all well and enjoyed the holidays with your family and friends. Just a few items to update you on:

1. Our Team Dinner is this Thursday! January 9, 2020 from 1900-1945.

Our agenda is to recap our meetings, finalize the elements of our profiles, sketch a few frameworks on goal options, and determine what success and evaluation look like as we prepare to launch our peer coaching initiative.

2. Meeting Platform: BlueJeans
Details in the email sent! We will be recording the session and sending out the link to team members.

3. We’ve uploaded the video from our November 5th meeting and would like to share it with those that were unable to attend (link in our email).

4. Learning Hub! Here are a few resources that caught my eye:

Coaching in Medical Education: Taking your Clinical Supervision to the Next Level (2018) This talk delves into defining coaching, the evidence behind the method, applying to Competency by Design, and coaching on shift.

Coaching in Medical Education: Guidance for Educators & Students (2017) via AMA. On the right-hand side bar, you can download the Faculty & Learner handbooks. Both handbooks provide a series of brief articles on coaching, frameworks for designing programs, and the skills needed to be successful.

Teaching that Counts: Giving Feedback (infographic) with great tips! Thanks Bill for sharing.

We look forward to connecting soon!

Warm regards,

Jacqueline, Brenda, & Holden
