Faculty Development & Preceptor Appreciation Day

This event is family friendly and open to any preceptors who want to come. Last year we had attendees from such far flung reaches as Bella Coola, Saltspring Island, and Inuvik and are hoping for a similarly heterogeneous group this year.

If you have any questions please contact Christel Deas, who’s the point person for this event.

Sincerely,

Bill Upward, MA (Educ) – Teaching and Learning Strategist
Department of Family Practice, Faculty of Medicine

Third Annual R1 vs R2 Volleyball Tourney

Join us for the Third Annual R1 vs. R2 Volleyball Tourney! Last year, our R1s easily swept the R2s. Will they be able to repeat?!

When: Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
Where: Mission Springs Pub & Brewery volleyball courts in Mission

Winners receive the coveted Henry Weinhard Award! Best darn root beer this side of Regina! And bragging rights of course!

Second place team members have to compose a limerick based on their field notes and have it submitted to me by Friday, June 29th. The limericks will be reviewed and a winner announced Monday, July 2nd. Lunch is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. at the Mission Springs restaurant following our game!

Warmly,

Jacqueline
